When it comes to (something)
👉 When it comes to cooking, she’s amazing.
⏳ «وقتی صحبت آشپزی باشه، اون عالیه.»
➤ یعنی «در موردِ»، «وقتی سرِ … می‌رسه».
Go in one ear and out the other
👉 Everything I say goes in one ear and out the other!
⏳ «هر چی می‌گم از یک گوش می‌ره تو از اون یکی می‌ره بیرون!»
➤ یعنی «حرفی را جدی نگرفتن یا فراموش کردن».
My mind goes (went) completely blank
👉 During the exam, my mind went completely blank.
⏳ «سر امتحان مغزم کامل قفل کرد / هیچی یادم نیومد.»
➤ یعنی «ناگهان هیچ چیز یادت نیاد».
The minute (that)
👉 The minute I saw her, I knew something was wrong.
⏳ «همین که دیدمش فهمیدم یه چیزی اشتباهه.»
➤ یعنی «به محض اینکه».
Get there
👉 Call me when you get there.
⏳ «وقتی رسیدی اونجا بهم زنگ بزن.»
➤ یعنی «رسیدن».

⏳ «یه چای واقعاً می‌چسبه الآن.»
➤ یعنی «نیاز دارم / به کارم میاد / بد نیست داشته باشم».

👉 Do you have anyone in mind for the job?
⏳ «کسی مدنظر داری برای این کار؟»
➤ یعنی «در نظر داشتن».
Off the top of my head
👉 Off the top of my head, I’d say about 50 dollars.
⏳ «همین‌جوری بدون فکر دقیق می‌گم حدود ۵۰ دلار.»
➤ یعنی «سرسری و بدون فکر زیاد».
